The project aimed to provide CS:GO enthusiasts with a user-friendly and visually appealing platform to buy and sell in-game cosmetic items.
Process
The basic workflow of this project was first to conduct a project kick-off meeting with the team to understand their needs and what I needed to accomplish. Once we defined the project scope and deadline, I decided to use a Design Sprint methodology in order to reach the limited deadline.
This where a resume of my roadmap and objective that I follow to complete this job:
Understand

- Analyzed competitors’ platforms to identify strengths, weaknesses, and market gaps.
- Held meetings with the client to define project goals, key features, and desired outcomes
Ideating

- Focused on user and business needs to generate innovative solutions.
Deciding
- Chose WooCommerce as the eCommerce platform for its flexibility, customization options, and compatibility with WordPress.
- Identified essential plugins and integrations to enhance the platform’s functionality.
Prototyping
- Created high-fidelity prototypes using Figma.
- Incorporated visual branding elements, interactive features, and intuitive navigation to simulate the user experience.
Testing
- Developed a beta version of the eCommerce platform, ensuring compatibility and responsiveness across devices and browsers.
- Conducted rigorous testing, including user acceptance testing and performance testing, to identify and address issues.
Implement
- Translated the finalized design into functional code, customizing WooCommerce templates and themes.
- Launched the eCommerce platform to the target audience, monitoring performance and user feedback post-launch for further optimizations.
Conclusion
We efficiently navigated through understanding, ideating, deciding, prototyping, testing, and implementation stages to deliver an eCommerce platform tailored for CS:GO skins using WooCommerce.
